Today, I’m meeting with members of my Leadership Coaching Program to run through ALL my health routines.
I’m hitting the mind and body and anything else you can think of for that matter.
Like everything.
Here’s a few other items I’m running through…
The overall stuff. Lifestyle design is very important and your mental and physical well-being is greatly influenced by your activities, demands, commitments, work, and relationships.
Nutrition/Diet. For the most part, my wife and I cook 26-27 nights every month. Of course, we have the occasional date nights, but we’re generally very healthy eaters. My diet is insane and dialed in for total metabolic health. I’m covering what goes in, what stays out, and more.
Hydration. Hydration is every bit is important to your body as your food diet is. Again, I’m covering what goes in and what stays out.
Exercise, stretching, and movement. I have a regiment that keeps me totally fit. At 58 years old, I weigh the same as I did when I entered college (actually less). Only now, I’m in better shape. No lie. I’ll give you the secret sauce.
Sleep. Yes, I do. Over the last year, I’ve slept an average of 7 hours 42 minutes each night. That’s s-l-e-p-t. Not tossed and turned. My watch takes those minutes out and that dang thing is a stickler for precision. I’m sharing my entire routine from my wind-down time to the pillows I use. Oh joy.
Tracking. If you’re not measuring, there is absolutely no way you can truly understand what is going on inside your body. I’m covering all the tools I use. I especially hawk my HRV (Heart Rate Variability) so I know how well my parasympathetic nervous system is working and any adjustments I need to make.
Ergonomics. My office is set up for success and I’m not talking about my business. I set it up so I’m not in physical pain! I’m serving up the entire set up and how I manage to do what my mother told me (sit up straight!).
Doctors, specialist, and coaches. Why would you ever want to go through life alone? I have an army of people who help me stay in order. I’ll share who they are and what they do.
