I have a previous post detailing 8 ways to beat imposter syndrome.

Today, I want to continue our convo on this sticky issue.

I put this in the form of a quiz that’ll will help you kickstart the process of overcoming imposter syndrome.

If it makes you feel any better, this newsletter is not even an actual quiz as much as thought-provoking questions and statements to get you to reflect and consider your future as a self-assured and self-confident pro.

Now, I can only work so much magic in a couple of posts so if you like what I’m layin’ down, perhaps you want to join me and members of my Leadership Coaching Program on Friday (the 22nd) for our live group discussion on this very subject. (Members also receive the replay in their leadership library.)

In fact, every month, I meet with these members to teach them new skills to live a better life and enjoy a more rewarding career.

I give them thought-provokers like the ones I’ve included in this email for you.

I also give them semi-brutal challenges to help them correctly practice and implement what I teach them.

You can join us Friday, but membership is required for this one.

In addition to the monthly sessions, you can access to the leadership library, which has something on the order of 80 full-feature videos, workbooks, and other assets.

The topics cover lifestyle and wellness, organization and productivity, success and high performance, communication and influence, developing relationships, and building high-performance teams and promoting culture.

Perhaps give that button a push and look at how your life will drastically change when you become a member AND put in the time to develop yourself.

You can join for as little as $0.81/day. No lie.

THE IMPOSTER SYNDROME QUIZ I PROMISED!

OK! Pop quiz!

Don’t worry. You cannot possibly fail.

Print the newsletter. I even put the lines in for you.

If you want the approach, all the instruction, the challenge (it’s a doozy), and the workbook that goes with this, join me on Friday!

1. Capturing Step Reflection: What recurring situations trigger my imposter feelings, and what emotions accompany these moments?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

2. Perspective Change Inquiry: What specific accomplishments and skills have I achieved in my personal and professional life that I can draw upon to counter imposter feelings? How can I readjust my success metrics to focus on what I can control?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

3. Comparison Challenge: What cues can I use to avoid detrimental comparisons and redirect my focus to my own journey to enhance my ability to combat imposter syndrome? What strategies can I employ to strengthen my willpower and stay committed to my unique path?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

4. Conditioning and Victory Mindset: What small victories in my (daily) life can I start celebrating regularly so I can build a victory mindset? How can I adopt and embody the “no-matter-what” mindset to reinforce my belief in my abilities?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

5. Habit Building and Reconditioning Reflection: What habits can I build to boost my confidence, and how can I make them an integral part of my identity? How can I implement the Set Up + Do + Reflect + Reward formula to rewire my brain and cultivate confidence in areas where I doubt myself?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

6. Creating Minimum Viable Products (MVPs): How can I shift my perspective to see each project as an opportunity for iteration and growth? What was a specific project or endeavor where I initially perceived failure but later recognized it as an important step in my progress? What did I learn from that experience? What is the number one opportunity I have related to my imposter syndrome where I can get an MVP up and running as quickly as possible? What’s the first step I can take to start it?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

7. Ongoing Mastery and Education: What specific educational opportunities, workshops, or mentors can I seek out to further enhance my skills and knowledge and reduce vulnerability to imposter syndrome?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

8. Evaluation and Reflection: What are specific instances where reflection led to positive changes in my life? What tools or methods have I found most effective for self-assessment, and how can I incorporate daily or regular reflection into my routine to maintain confidence and combat imposter syndrome? What questions should I ask myself daily to facilitate this reflection (e.g., what went well, what did I learn, what can I do to improve that step, etc.)?

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Any which way you engage in my work, thank you for your attention and I genuinely hope this message was helpful!
